Good news as €1.7m eight house development approved for Kildare

A €1.7m, eight house residential development has been approved for Kildare.

According to Construction Information Services (CIS), Vernon Estates Limited secured planning permission for the development from Kildare County Council on March 9 2026.

The address of the proposed development is at Ballitore, Athy R14 CD76, Co Kildare.

The architect for the project is Brian Connolly and Associates.

Planning application number 2560427 was submitted to the local authority on April 28 2025.

The development includes the following:

  • Construction of eight semi-detached two-storey houses;

  • A new recessed vehicular entrance off Abby's Row;

  • A new recessed vehicular entrance off Cockpit Lane;

  • New internal road network connecting Abby’s Row and Cockpit Lane;

  • Connection to foul water sewer, and all associated ancillary site-works.

The total site are is 0.33 ha.
