A school located in County Kildare will host its first-ever fun run in aid of a well-known charity.

The Patrician Secondary School in Newbridge will host the 5K run and walk next month, with all proceeds going to the Irish Cancer Society.

The registration fee for adults is €18, while the fee for students is €8.

There is no fee for children under the age of 12.

The event will take place on Saturday, March 21, 2026.

It will begin on the school's grounds at 10am.

Registration via justrunsevents.ie.
