An application has been submitted to Kildare County Council for the construction of four tourist accommodation pods on a site in Cherryville, Co Kildare.
According to Construction Information Services (CIS), Cherryville Pod Partnership made the submission on January 8 2026, planning ref. 2660013.
The scheme comprises the proposed construction of four single-storey detached pods (2 x type 1 and 2 x type 2) for tourist accommodation; secondary effluent treatment system; utilisation of existing entrance; landscaping and access road and all associated site works.
The total cost of the development is estimated at €414k.
The architect for the proposed development is Whyte Planning Consultants Limited.
