Some 13 people were treated on trolleys at Naas Hospital today, having come in through the accident and emergency department.

It was the second least overcrowded hospital in the eastern region, ahead of Connolly Hospital Blanchardstown which had forur people on trolleys.
Portlaoise Hospital had eight patients on trolleys while Tullamore Hospital had none.
