A dog park is needed in Kildare

A public park area has been put forward as a possible venue

A call as been made for a dog park to be set up in Naas.

Independent Ireland councillor Bill Clear wants Kildare County Council to develop a pop-up dog park on the Fairgreen.

A popup dog park is a temporary fenced off area where dogs can be let off the lead.

He has also asked KCC to conduct a survey of the dog owners "to assess the need and support for a permanent dog park in the Naas area."
