A diamond engagement ring, in addition to other items of jewellery, were stolen from a home in County Kildare.

The burglary was highlighted by Garda William Barry when he appeared as a guest on a KFM radio programme which aired earlier today (November 26).

He told host Hannah Kelly that the crime took place at a home located in the Sundays Well region of Naas on Friday, November 21 last.

According to Gda Barry, a diamond engagement ring, a gold necklace and a gold wedding band were stolen from the residence.

He concluded by urging anyone with information and / or video footage of the incident (particularly between the hours of 11.30am to 10pm) to contact Naas Garda Station on 045 884 300.

When asked by the Leinster Leader about this crime, a garda spokesperson responded: "Gardaí are investigating a burglary at a residence in Sundays Well, Naas, County Kildare that occurred on Friday, November 21, 2025.

"A number of items were reported as stolen."

The spokesperson added that investigations are ongoing.
