Kildare GAA Player Awards announced

The Annual Kildare GAA Club and County, Football and Hurling awards will be presented this Saturday, November 29 at a lavish function at Keadeen Hotel, Newbridge.

The Players of the year for 2025 go to: 

County Football Player of the Year: Alex Beirne, Naas; 

Joe Mallon Motors Senior Football Player: Barry Kelly, Athy; 

National Electrical Wholesalers Intermediate Football Player: Colm Dalton, Sallins; 

Tom Cross Transport Junior Football Player of the Year: Conall Bergin, Grangenolvin.

Hurling Players of the Year: Kildare County Hurling Player of the Year: Cian Boran, Naas; 

UPMC Senior Hurling Player: Cormac Gallagher, Naas;

UPMC Senior B Hurling Player: Paddy McKenna, Clane;

UPMC Intermediate Hurling Player: Mark Nevin, Naas;

UPMC Junior Hurling Player: John Roche, Leixlip;

Tickets for the Awards Night are available from Kildare Co. Board.

The awards were selected by a panel of local journalists including Daragh Nolan, Ger McNally, Seamus Dillon, Richard Commins, Pat Costello and Tommy Callaghan.
