On Monday, November 17, members of An Garda Síochána in Kildare North carried out a day of action as part of Operation Táirge, an ongoing initiative to tackle retail crime and related offences.
As a result, nine individuals were arrested and charged with theft offences.
They will appear before the courts in the coming weeks.
As we head into the busy Christmas period, Gardaí will continue to maintain high-visibility patrols to help keep our communities safe.
