The construction of a truck wash is being sought for a Kildare-based business park.

Carnalway Freight Ltd is seeking planning permission from Kildare County Council to construct the truck wash in Newhall Business Park in Naas (the business information website SoloCheck shows that Carnalway Freight Ltd also trades as Smullen Transport).

According to the description, along with the provision of a truck wash, the company is also seeking permission for "all associated infrastructure, and site and development works, and services".

The date received is listed as November 17 last, while the submission-by and due dates are listed as December 21, 2025 and January 20, 2026.
