ALERT: Snag works due to take place near Kildare Village

Kildare County Council (KCC) has announced that snag works are due to be carried out near Kildare Village Retail Outlet.

According to KCC, the snag works, which form part of the 'St Brigids Safe Routes to School' scheme, will take place on the Grey Abbey Road, as well as on Academy Street and Bride Street in Kildare town.

The works will commence on Tuesday, November 18, 2025 and are expected to run for two works.

In addition, KCC said that it wished to "apologise for any inconvenience caused".
