Gardaí based in North Kildare are investigating after a sum of cash, in addition to some personal items, were stolen from a car.
When asked by the Leinster Leader about this theft, a garda spokesperson replied: "Gardaí are investigating an incident of theft from a car, which occurred at Maynooth, County Kildare, between Wednesday, October 15 last and Thursday, October 16 last.
"A quantity of cash and personal items are believed to have been stolen."
The spokesperson added that investigations are ongoing.
