She also alleged she is suffering financial abuse at his hands.
The couple have two children and the woman said she has been suffering domestic abuse.
The court also heard she had received an inheritance from abroad and, it was claimed, in the absence of support from the man, she was using this to live on.
She said the man, who was not present or represented, is angry and aggressive and calls her names and threatens her.
She also said he doesn't support her and also says that he will not let her go.
“I’m afraid he’ll do something,” she said, claiming that he calls her a “f…ing asshole”, “f…… c…” and “f…… idiot”.
She said she is not working and had used her money from the inheritance to buy a house and a car.
“He has money he didn’t tell me about. He is controlling me”
She also claimed he goes through the garbage “to see what I’m throwing out.”
The woman said she gets €300 a month from him for her and children and he had €50,000 “which he hid.”
