Substance use in teenagers is often a complex and scary situation — not just for the teenager themselves, but also for their parent(s) / guardian(s).
However, it doesn't have to seem this way forever.
Fortunately, those seeking to tackle the topic in a positive and constructuve manner can avail from an upcoming County Kildare talk, one which will examine substance use in teenagers.
"Dealing with Substance Use in Teens" aims to act as an introduction for parents, in addition to professionals working with young people engaging with substances.
The free talk will be hosted by Tommy Hunt, an experienced counsellor / psychotherapist and co-ordinator with The Halo Project (In Sync Youth and Family Services).
"Dealing with Substance Use in Teens" will take place on October 9, 2025 in Kildare town Library.
It will commence at 6.30pm and conclude at 7.30pm.
