Home in Kildare targeted during daylight burglary incident. File photograph
Members of An Garda Síochána (AGS) based in County Kildare are investigating after a home was targeted during a daylight burglary incident.
When asked by the Leinster Leader about this crime, a spokesperson for AGS responded: "Gardaí received a report of an incident of burglary that occurred at a domestic residence in the Ashgrove Park area of Naas, County Kildare on Wednesday August 27 last between 8am and 2pm.
"A number of items have been reported as stolen.
"A technical examination of the scene was conducted."
The spokesperson also said that investigations are ongoing.
In addition, a member of AGS, Garda Sean O'Mahony, told KFM yesterday (September 3 last) that AGS is seeking CCTV and / or dashcam footage in relation to the incident.
