“He’s not working, he’s intimidating us and trying to control us,” he told Judge Desmond Zaidan.
The man said he had been assaulted by his son.
The father said he had got his son a place in the Cuan Mhuire centre which treats people with addictions but “he left after four days.”
The son was not present for the hearing.
Judge Desmond Zaidan praised the work of Cuan Mhuire and he said the man was "absolutely foolish” to leave the centre after four days. “He’s just destroying himself,” he added.
The judge also said he would have the gardaí serve the protection order on the son.
