Gardaí based in County Kildare are investigating following the daylight theft of jewellery from a residence.

When asked by the Leinster Leader about this particular crime, a garda spokesperson replied: "Gardaí are investigating a burglary at residential property in Nass [sic] County Kildare on August 20, 2025 that occurred at approximately 3pm.

"A number of items of jewellery was taken from the property."

The spokesperson added that the investigation remains ongoing.

PARTIAL LEAD

In addition, Garda Shane Smyth informed KFM yesterday (August 27 last) that gardaí are seeking a silver Opel car in relation to this incident.

He said that the car has a partial "09-D" registration plate.
