The group known as Kildare town Community First Responders has released an open call for new volunteers to join its ranks.

Making the appeal on social media, the organisation said that those interested in joining must live in Kildare town, must have a few hours to spare to help their local community and must have a desire to learn life-saving skills.

"No experience needed — all training provided," the group added.

Those interested in joining Kildare town Community First Responders can email cfrkildaretown@gmail.com.
