A Celbridge, Co Kildare nursing home has been granted planning permission for a €218k extension.
According to Construction Information Services (CIS), Springwood Nursing Homes Limited has been granted the permission with respect to Elm Hall Nursing Home, Loughlinstown Road, Celbridge, Co Kildare.
Permission has been granted for a two-storey extension to the existing nursing home building, to provide two additional bed spaces.

Internal alterations are to take place on the existing ground and first floor to provide six additional bed spaces, as well as internal alterations on the ground floor of the existing village centre building.
The works include minor alterations to the nursing home and village centre building facades, as well as all associated site works and landscaping.
The application was first made on January 27 2025.
The architect for the project is Demesne Architects Limited.
