Following a hugely successful Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby, The Curragh Racecourse in Co Kildare is set to sparkle again this summer as the Juddmonte Irish Oaks Weekend returns for an unforgettable two-day celebration of world-class racing, high fashion, and family entertainment on Saturday, July 19th and Sunday, July 20th, 2025.
The highlight off the track is the return of the Barberstown Castle Sapphire Style Awards, which takes place on Saturday, 19th July where this year’s theme, “Shine in Blue,” invites racegoers to dazzle in their boldest and most beautiful shades of blue.
Hosted by beloved fashion icons Arthur Gourounlian and Brian Dowling the event celebrates individuality, glamour, and fearless fashion. Attendees will compete for the coveted Barberstown Castle Sapphire Style Awards, with a spectacular prize including:
A €5,000 sapphire jewellery piece from Weir & Sons
A luxury 2-night stay at Barberstown Castle

Designed especially for children and families, the show features animatronic and walkabout dragons, creating an immersive and unforgettable experience for racegoers away from the track. In case of poor weather, an indoor venue will ensure the magic continues safely.
