Kildare County Council has been asked about plans to provide new schools to serve the areas of Naas, Sallins, Kill and Johnstown.

Cllr Bill Clear is seeking information from KCC about "any sites currently being purchased by the Department of Education for the provision of new schools."
The councillor says new schools will be needed because of the substantial increase in population and development.
