A garda investigation has been launched after items of clothing were stolen from a retail outlet located in County Kildare.
When asked by the Leinster Leader about the incident, a garda spokesperson responded: "Gardaí attended the scene following report of a theft at a retail outlet in Maynooth, County Kildare, that occurred on Saturday, June 28, 2025 at approximately 5.20pm.
"A number of items of clothing are believed to have been taken."
The spokesperson added: "Investigations are ongoing."
