A man made a threat to kill his wife, the woman claimed at Naas District Court.
The woman was seeking protection under family law legislation.

She told Judge Desmond Zaidan that he threatened to kill her father and mother. She alleged further that the man, who was not present in court for the hearing and was not represented, spat in her face twice and towards her.
“He said he would stab me and drag my parents out of the house," she claimed.
She said he had called her “fat”, “bitch” and a “prostitute.”
The woman further claimed that he “blames me for his issues.”
She also claimed he said that the gardaí would take away her young child.
Judge Desmond Zaidan granted an interim protection order and adjourned the case to March 10 next.
