A leaf blower was reported as being stolen from a cemetery located in South Kildare.

That's according to Garda David Prendergast of Naas Garda Station, who discussed the incident with KFM yesterday (May 14 last).

He explained that the theft took place at around 4.15pm in St Brigid's Cemetery, Kilcullen on Wednesday, May 7 last.

Gda Prendergast added that anyone with information about this crime can contact Kilcullen Garda Station on 045 481 212.

When asked by the Leinster Leader about the incident, a garda spokesperson responded: "Gardaí received report of an incident of theft that occurred at approximately 4.15pm on May 7, 2025 at a premises in Kilcullen, County Kildare."

"Investigations are ongoing at this time," the spokesperson concluded.
