A total of 15 apartments are being planned for the Dublin Road in Kildare town.
The estimated construction value of the project is €3.4m, according to Building Information Ireland database.
Permission is sought for the partial demolition of the rear element of an existing two-storey commercial premises.
Demolition is also sought for the existing industrial style units on the site to the rear of the original commercial unit.
Permission is sought the construction of two blocks of apartments.
Block A consists of a three-storey building and partial two-storey with attic space, consisting of 10 apartments (eight one-bedroom apartments and two three bedroom apartments.
Block B consists of a two-story building attached to the original commercial unit on site and will provide five apartments (four two-bedroom units and one one-bedroom unit, covered car parking area and covered bike and bin area.
