An incident during which criminal damage was caused to a vehicle on the premises of a County Kildare service station is under investigation by gardaí.

Details of the crime were detailed by Garda Christopher Fallon of Leixlip Garda Station when he appeared on a KFM radio programme yesterday morning (May 7 last).

He explained that the incident took place at the Circle K service station in Kilcullen (on the M9) sometime between 5am and 11am on May 1 last.

According to Gda Fallon, the window of a car parked on the premises was smashed.

He concluded by urging anyone with information about this incident to contact Naas Garda Station on 045 884 300.
