Kildare animal welfare charity holding fundraiser at Punchestown on Good Friday
The Kildare West Wicklow Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (KWWSPCA) is holding its Easter Egg Hunt and Dog Walk in Punchestown on Good Friday.
The Easter Egg Hunt is from 2pm to 4pm and the Dog Walk will start at 3pm.
The KWWSPCA said: "We meet just inside the main entrance to the racecourse.
"Everyone is welcome; there is plenty of free parking and entry is free, although donations are welcome.
"There will be Easter eggs for the children, treats for the dogs and a raffle.
"A lot of our rescue dogs, past and present, will be attending and going on the walk.
"Patrick, a past KWWSPCA rescue dog and now one of its mascot dogs, will be there to greet everyone and to lead the walk. The walk is on fairly level, solid ground and lasts about an hour. All dogs must be kept on leads."
