There are no plans for a train station in Naas.
However, a park and ride facility is planned for west of Sallins to facilitate people using the rail station there.

Kildare County Council said it is engaging with a wide range of state and semi-state agencies in preparing an overall development plan for Naas and these include the National Transport Authority, which coordinates projects in the greater Dublin area.
Fine Gael councillor Evie Sammon called for a rail station in Naas and said Kildare County Council should engage with the Department of Transport.
The councillor says this should form part of the proposal to develop the North West Quadrant, an area around Ploopluck and Osberstown.
