Anyone who has met a Dachshund can tell you that these dogs gladly wear their qualities of loyalty, energy and playful mischief on their metaphorical sleeves.
Well, if you're a Dachshund fan living in County Kildare, you are in luck, as a meet-up event featuring this unique breed of dogs is being organised in Newbridge.
The social outing is being hosted by Dachshunds Co Kildare and will take place in The Strand area of the Liffey Linear Park.
The organisers also listed the following three pointers for those who wish to attend: ''bring poop bags and water; leave the place clean; and owners are responsible for their own dogs.''
''[We] can't wait to see all your sausages! Tell your friends,'' the group added.
The meet-up will take place at 11am.
