The grounds of a mansion in Newbridge, Co Kildare are being transformed.
The green light has been given for the refurbishment of existing residential staff accommodation and stable buildings at Curragh Grange House on the Green Road.
The Richard Orpen designed residence went on sale in 2013 with 10 acres for a guide price of €2.25 million.
This latest development granted permission by Kildare Co Council will see the conversion of residential staff accommodation and stable buildings to 11 apartment units.
The total estimated construction value of the project is €1.9m.
Also in the designs are landscaping works, new boundaries and new bicycle and bin storage facilities.
There will be car parking spaces for 12 cars, including five EV spaces and five accessible spaces.
