Proceeds of raffle totalling €1,547
The Liffey Choir has generously donated the proceeds from their recent raffle totalling €1,547 to the Newbridge Day Care Centre in Kildare.
This substantial contribution will go towards enhancing the services and facilities at the Centre, which provides invaluable support for the elderly in the Newbridge area.

The raffle, which was held during the choir’s Christmas concert performance, quickly became a highlight of the event. Choir members, local supporters, and attendees came together to make the fundraiser a success, with every ticket purchased helping to raise much-needed funds for the Centre’s ongoing projects.
Newbridge Day Care Centre, a well-respected establishment, provides a range of services to help elderly individuals maintain their independence and quality of life.
Speaking on behalf of The Liffey Choir, choir director Lorraine Nolan expressed gratitude to everyone who took part in the raffle, saying, “We are thrilled to have raised such a significant amount for the Newbridge Day Care Centre. It’s a cause that’s close to our hearts, and we’re proud to be able to contribute to their vital work in the community. We would like to thank our audience and supporters for making this possible.”
The Liffey Choir’s gesture is a testament to the strong sense of community in Newbridge. It is a reminder that, together, local organisations, businesses, and individuals can make a meaningful difference to those in need.
Newbridge Day Care Centre expressed their deepest appreciation for the donation.
As The Liffey Choir continues to inspire through song, it’s clear that their commitment to giving back will resonate far beyond their performances. Their donation to the Newbridge Day Care Centre marks another chapter in their ongoing support for those in need within the community.
