Wildlife rescue group in Kildare releases appeal for these common household items

Donations can be dropped to the organisation’s centre in Kildare Town
A wildlife rescue group based in County Kildare has released a brand-new appeal calling for donations of specific, common household items.
Taking to social media to explain its latest call, Kildare Wildlife Rescue (KWR) said that it is ‘in great need of towels and sheets’ for bedding for its wildlife patients.
KWR also stressed: “We can not accept pillows and duvets.”
The organisation concluded: “Donations can be dropped to the centre at R51 X338 between 9am and 7pm, seven days a week — thank you!”
BRIEF BACKGROUND
KWR is a registered charity which was established back in early 2022.
It is currently led by its manager, Dan Donoher, who is also known for his previous work with Kildare Animal Foundation.
KWR later acquired a site in Kildare Town to act as its base, and opened it in July of that same year.
The centre is divided into a number of areas and pens, which are specially designated for a different type of wild animal.
