A GoFundMe campaign has been launched to help a family in Kildare following the loss of a relative.
The fundraiser was set up by Lucinda O' Shea on behalf of the Holt family for the late Lauren Holt.
Lucinda said that Lauren sadly passed away on November 2 last from cancer, leaving behind her three children.
She explained: "Lauren's mam and dad are also unfortunately unwell, so were hoping to raise a few euro to help them be able to give there grandkids a good Christmas and maybe bring a little smile to there beautiful faces and maybe help with other expenses.
"If in a position to do so, please donate to support this wonderful and deserving family," Lucinda added.
As of publication, the fundraiser has raised just over €4,000 of its initial €5,000 goal.
