Kildare motorcycle run in aid of Pieta House in memory of local business man, Vivian Carroll

Ride for Hope, organised by Kildare Bike Spin and Meets, takes place on June 27
A charity motorcycle run, in aid of suicide awareness and prevention, is being held in memory of County Kildare business man, Vivian Carroll.
Ride for Hope sets out on Saturday, June 27 from Gaelic Burger on the outskirts of Naas at 11am, finishing up at Judge Roy Beans in Newbridge later in the day.
“Ride for those we've lost. Support those who are struggling. Stand together as a community,” said the organisers, Kildare Bike Spins and Meets.
“On 27 June, Kildare Spins & Meets will host a Charity Motorcycle Run in memory of Vivian, a well-known local businessman, loving husband, devoted father, and a man who gave so much of his time to helping others through charity work. Sadly, Vivian lost his life to suicide. In his memory, we are raising funds for Pieta House to support the vital work they do for individuals and families affected by suicide and self-harm.
“All proceeds go to Pieta House, which provides lifesaving support to those affected by suicide, self-harm and suicidal ideation. This cause touches far too many families, friends and communities. Every euro raised can help make a real difference.
“Can't make the run? You can still support the event.”
There are currently collection buckets in businesses across Newbridge
