Kildare-based art group launches Summer exhibition in popular shopping centre
The exhibition will coincide with June Fest 2026
A community art group based in County Kildare launched its latest free exhibition on Thursday, May 14 last, inside a busy shopping centre.
Following on from its Spring exhibition, PopUpArt Newbridge has revealed that it has been invited back to the Whitewater Shopping Centre to showcase its Summer 2026 Art Exhibition. This event will run in conjunction with June Fest 2026.
Speaking ahead of the latest exhibition, member Eilis Kavanagh said: “The PopUpArt Newbridge team are excited about this new eclectic Summer collection, and we are delighted to have an additional two new artists join their collective of Kildare-connected artists for this exhibition.”
Eilis, who also founded the group, added: “I would like to make a special note of thanks to Ingrid Ryan, the manager of the Whitewater Shopping Centre, and her brilliant team for their continued enthusiastic support to them and their commitment to supporting the arts within the community, and to all community focused events and initiatives.”
She also congratulated the Whitewater Shopping Centre on its recent 20th anniversary.
Lastly, Eilis said: “This exhibition is free to all, and all are welcome to pop along to view the work of this diverse collective of Kildare-connected artists and chat with the artists on duty and maybe purchase something for themselves or the art lover in their life.”
PopUpArt Newbridge’s latest exhibition will be situated on the first floor in the Whitewater Shopping Centre and will run until Sunday, June 28, 2026.
It will be open each weekend, Friday to Sunday inclusive, from 11am to 5.30pm.
In addition to the exhibition, you can view it on the group’s virtual online gallery on popupartnewbridge.com.
Anyone who is interested in exhibiting with PopUpArt Newbridge for any of their forthcoming exhibitions is asked to email popupartnewbridge.com.
