Gardaí are investigating a burglary at a pub in Monasterevin.
A break-in took place at the Venice of Ireland premises in the town in the early hours of Monday, December 12.
It's understood that two males stole a sum of cash.
Gardaí, who did not identify the pub in question, appealed to the public for information on the burglary.
A statement said: "Gardaí attended an incident of burglary that occurred at approximately 2:15am on Monday, 12th December 2022 on Main Street, Monasterevin, Co Kildare.
"A sum of cash was taken from the premises in the course of this incident.
"No arrests have been made and investigations are ongoing."
