Gardaí have confirmed that they have stopped motorist a travelling at 172kph in a 100kph Zone in North Kildare.
According to the Garda Traffic account on Twitter, Clane Gardaí were conducting speed-checks on the N7 recently when they detected this car travelling at a speed of 172kph in a 100kph Zone.
"They were stopped and the driver was arrested; proceedings to follow," the account added.
