Salmon Leap Canoe Club is applying for planning permission for a new pontoon.
It wants to replace three existing floating jetties with a single low freeboard floating pontoon and an access ramp on the River Liffey/Leixlip Reservoir at the club's home at Barnhall.
The application is due to be submitted to the council in the coming days.
