Gardaí are investigating an attempted burglary of a property the Newtown Court area of Maynooth last night.
A door was damaged during the incident which happened at about 8.30pm.
An intruder alarm was activated and neighbours were alerted to the incident.
Anybody with information is asked to contact gardaí.
