Junior Kildare badminton player, Darragh Murtagh has been selected to represent Ireland on the U/13 International Badminton Squad.

The Kildare CMWS Badminton Club member will travel to Glasgow with the team to compete in an international competition.

Sporting talent runs in the family. Darragh’s dad, Aidan is a senior club member of Kildare CMWS Club while Ashling, Darraghs sister is a Leinster badminton squad player.

At a recent Sunday night bingo, a presentation was made to Darragh on behalf of the CMWS Hall of €500 by Esther Brady.
This donation was to support Darragh with additional equipment and his training preparations for this international event.
