Naas school is getting ready for first musical gig

Students preparing for opening night

Naas Community College is in full practice mode for its first ever musical.

Students and teachers are busy preparing with the aim of staging an excellent production of 'Grease'. Some 60 students, from first year to transition year will be on stage.

Students will obviously be singing and dancing but others will do the less visible work associated with costume, hair, make up, and the stage set.

The soundtrack will transport you back to 1950s high school America.

The show will be held on the March 13, 14 and 15 in The Moat Theatre, Naas, with curtains up at 7.30pm. Tickets cost €15 for adults and concession tickets cost €10. Or you can buy in advance from musicaltickets@naascc.ie.
