John Curran - Ballyteague, Kilmeague

John Curran of Ballyteague, Kilmeague passed away peacefully at Saint Brigid's Hospice, The Curragh on Wednesday February 27 surrounded by his loving family. He will be hugely missed by his daughter Lynda, son-in-law Danny, sisters Carmel, Ann and Rose, brothers Kevin and Jim, extended family, neighbours and friends.

He will be reposing at Glennon’s Funeral Home, Allenwood from 4pm today, Friday March 1 with rosary at 8pm. Removal on Saturday at 1:15 pm to arrive at the Church of The Holy Trinity, Allen for Requiem Mass at 2pm. Burial afterwards in Allen Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to “The Friends of Saint Brigid's Hospice, the Curragh’. Donations box in church.

Pat Harney - Kingsland, Colbinstown, Kildare / Wicklow

Pat Harney of Kingsland, Colbinstown, Co. Kildare passed away peacefully in the loving care of his family and wonderful staff of Tallaght Hospital, Dublin on Thursday February 28. He was the dearly beloved husband of the late Nina and father of Paul, Mark, Ellie and Marie. He will also be sadly missed by grandchildren Killian, Ella, Emma, James, Aidan and Orlaith, sisters, brothers, relatives and friends.

He will be reposing at his residence from 12 o'clock today, March 1 with removal at 7:30pm to the Church of S.S. Mary and Lawrence, Crookstown to arrive for 8pm. Requiem Mass on Saturday at 11 o'clock, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations if desired to Tallaght Hospital. Donation box in church.

Geraldine Mullins (née Fitzsimons) - Maryville, Kildare Town

Geraldine Mullins (née Fitzsimons) passed away on Monday February 25. She will be sadly missed by her husband Richie, daughter Caroline, sons Alan and Adrian, brother Paddy, sister-in-law Mary, grandchildren,relatives and friends. Her removal from McWey's Funeral Home takes place today, Friday March 1 at 10.30 to the Carmelite Church, Kildare arriving for Funeral Mass at 11 o'clock. Burial afterwards in St. Conleth's Cemetery, Kildare.  

Leonard Weir - Celbridge, Kildare / Ballyclare, Antrim

Leonard Weir, Celbridge and formerly of Ballyclare, Co. Antrim passed away peacefully on February 27 after a short illness at Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown. He is deeply regretted and sadly missed by his wife Marlene, immediate and extended family and friends.

Reposing at Cunningham’s Funeral Home, Ardclough Road, Celbridge on Sunday evening, March 3 from 5pm to 7pm. A celebration of Leonard’s life will be held in the funeral home at 1pm on Monday afternoon, March 4 followed by cremation at Newland’s Cross Crematorium. Family flowers only please.

Eddie Wright - Lipstown, Narraghmore

Eddie Wright of Lipstown, Narraghmore passed away on Thursday, February 28 at Naas Hospital. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Mary, sons Robert, James and Eddie, daughters May, Theresa and Ann, brother Anthony sons-in-law Andy, Mick and David, daughters-in-law Hannah, Ann and Jackie, brother-in-law Johnny, sisters-in-law Lizzie and Ann, grandchildren, great -grandchildren, extended family, relatives and friends.

Reposing at his residence on today Friday, March 1 from 3pm with Rosary at 8pm. Removal on Saturday afternoon to the Church of S.S. Mary and Laurence, Crookstown, arriving for 2pm Requiem Mass, Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
