KILDARE ANIMAL FOUNDATION: Cats and dogs who need homes

These animals need a loving home

Are you looking for a pet to join your family? We have some troopers just waiting for the chance of forever homes here at Kildare Animlal Foundation.

All our animals for rehoming are neutered, vaccinated, microchipped.

A home visit will be required before we place any of our animals in new homes. This is simply to make sure we match the right pet to the right family. We want it to last a life time.

Could you care  for a cat?

Oswald is a nine-month-old cat who is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. He is a lovely cat.

He is closely bonded with Jerome who is eight months old.

Both are super cats and play all they.

Lowry is a brother of Oswald. He is a great little cat who would make a great companion to another cat.

We have around 35 cats here at the shelter, of all ages and colours. All had a very bad start in their lives but are now healthy and happy.

We do everything we can for them.

If you are thinking of adopting a cat, please do call us for a chat and arrange a visit.

Dogs looking for homes

Victor has come a long way since he was abandoned and tied to a tree. He was so scared when he arrived here at Kildare Animal Foundation.

We couldn’t tell the pain he had gone through. Our volunteers have been great as always and put so much time into him.

He is a great little dog and needs a kind home for the rest of his life. He is a young terrier mix of unusual colouring.

Wilma is still looking for a home. She is friendly, lively and ready for a home of her own. She’s a black shepherd mix.

She too was dumped on the side of a road.

She didn’t move for days. She hoped her owners would return but of course they did not. Come see her for yourself. She has a lot to give.

Seeking information on dumped dogs

This week we are also appealing for information after two dogs were dumped in Kildare town.

Julian and Wanda, two black Patterdale terriers were dumped out in the pitch dark. This was highly irresponsible.

If anyone has any information on who the owner of the dogs, please contact us in complete confidence.
