An imitation firearm and a hammer were produced during a robbery at a Naas filling station.

Two staff members were threatened during the raid at the Maxol outlet at Sallins Road, Naas last evening.
Two males entered the premises at between 8.05pm and 8.10pm. They were wearing balaclavas and high viz jackets and they demanded that the tills be opened.
There were no customers there at the time and they made off with a quantity of cash, estimated to be about €500.
