Kildare school Saplings accepts donation from running event

A cheque for €2,150 was presented to Saplings Special School for Children with Autism and Needs, Kill last weekend.

The presentation was made by Wayne O’Driscoll of ‘Irish Bling Hunters’ a company which organises running events to raise funds for charities.

It was accepted by Chairperson of the Parents Association, Brian Friel as well as children and parents of the school.

Wayne also used the opportunity to launch details of ‘Irish Bling Hunters’ Super Hero Kildare 5k/10k run next month.

This event will also be in aid of Saplings Special School for Children and will take place on Sunday, February 17 next, starting at 10am from the school. All are welcome to participate.
