Families can enjoy a spooky, fun-filled day out later this week with all proceeds from the event going directly to Lidl's charity partner Jigsaw, the National Centre for Youth Mental Health.

"Enter through a spooky farm house into a huge field, filled with our Bord Bia quality assured Irish pumpkins in all shapes and sizes. Once you’ve picked your favourite pumpkin, join a carving class to create your very own pumpkin masterpiece. Guests can enjoy refreshments and feast on our tasty Halloween treats while telling spooky ghost stories around the campfire," said the company.

The patch will be open from this Saturday until next Wednesday. Tickets cost €10 per adult and €6 per child at jigsaw.ie/events

The Pumpkin patch is at Ladytown, Morristown Upper, Newbridge (opposite BMW).
