Kildare estate agent brings in €4.8m from eight auctions in one week

Illan House, which was sold at auction

Coonan Property, with branches in Maynooth, Celbridge and Naas, recently completed a sales blitz of eight properties sold by auction in the last seven days across Co. Kildare.

This portfolio included a broad range of properties as follows;

— Straffan residence on 2.3 acres sold after auction for in excess €1.1 million.

— Straffan farm on 28.4 acres — range €450,000.

— Calverstown farm on 22 acres sold for €315,000.

— Brannockstown farm on 65 acres sold for €560,000.

— Brannockstown site totaling 4 acres sold for €100,000.

— Nr. Kilcullen farm totaling 157 acres sold for €1.350 million.

— Kilmeague residence on 6 acres sold for €180,000.

— Kilmeague property totaling 42 acres of forestry sold for €55,000.

The agents commented these sales were a healthy sign of the property market right across the county.

Coonan Property emphasised they had excellent bidding for all properties at each of the auctions. In fact they stated they had several disappointed underbidders, particularly for each of the farms and were anxious to obtain similar type properties for the disappointed clients .
