Dawn Farms, the food company based in Naas and the Naas Community Men’s Shed have teamed up to build bird homes and bee hotels.

It’s taking place as part of a biodiversity initiative at Dawn’s food campus in Naas. According to Barry Gallagher of Dawn Farms, the homes and hotels are made from left over wood pallets and will be placed safely around the site and they will also be on offer to all staff.

Dawn has also donated a defibrillator to the Men’s Shed which in turn will be made available to the Rathasker Road community and the Naas first responders group.
