Gardai have issued the following alert on twitter which will affect commuters heading out of Dublin this afternoon.
Please be advised that at Junction 5 (Blackchurch) N7 outbound will be reduced down to 1 lane due to facilitate the removal of over turned truck at Junction 5 inbound N7. Please use alternative routes if possible— An Garda Síochána (@GardaTraffic) October 3, 2018
UPDATE 17.16: Dublin Fire Brigade have finished at the scene but it says it will take some time for the recovery of the truck to be completed.
AA Roadwatch says traffic is reduced to one lane on the N7 in both directions between J5 Athgoe and J4 Rathcoole which is causing very long delays both ways.
"Northbound traffic is back to J7 Kill and southbound traffic is right back to Red Cow Interchange. Outbound on the N7 a broken down coach between J2 Kingswood and J3 Citywest in the left lane is adding to the already long delays. Avoid this route if possible," it said.
UPDATE Naas Rd: We've now finished on scene however recovery of the truck will take some time.
