Rathangan’s Ryan’s Pharmacy raised a whopping €2,325.45 for the Irish Cancer Society at its recent coffee morning.

There was huge support for the event, which took place on Friday, April 13.

“A huge big thank you to everyone who donated and attended our coffee morning! We are truly astounded by the generosity of our community,” said the pharmacy.

The money was raised from the proceeds of the coffee morning and a raffle.

Pharmacy owner, Shane Ryan and fellow pharmacist Barry Dunleavy are aiming to raise a total of €10,000 for the charity as part of their London marathon challenge. They have already raised a total of €5,335.

Preparations for the marathon are well underway with two days to go.
