Workshop for parents to keep children safe online

Newbridge Family Resource Centre

Newbridge Family Resource Centre are having a Parent Information Workshop on Wednesday, April 11, from 7pm to 9pm, for parents and carers that are worried about their child’s use of the internet and their safety while online.

The emphasis of this workshop is how parents can keep their child/children safe online, what parents need to look out for and what they need to put in place for their child.

The workshop will also outline the potential dangers that may face their child online and how to deal with it if their child is exposed to anything inappropriate. Also, each attendee will be emailed a copy of an e-book after the session which contains lots of useful information, and links to The organisers support groups etc.

We are delighted to announce we have Patricia, the founder and an experienced facilitator from the organisation ‘Sticks and Stones’ facilitating our workshop in the Centre in Dara Park.

Limited spaces available on the night, so first come first served. Please contact the Centre on 045 438173 or pop in to the centre to book your place.
